Programme Overview

Turn Legacy Equipment into Next-Generation Performance

The HPE Aruba Networking Trade-In Programme rewards businesses that upgrade their network infrastructure. Purchase new HPE Aruba Networking products through One80 Technology Group and receive a trade-in allowance when you return your old networking equipment — including competitor hardware.

Whether you are replacing ageing wireless access points, outdated switches, or end-of-life routers, this programme provides a structured, cost-effective pathway to modernise your network with the latest Wi-Fi 7, SD-WAN, and AI-powered management technologies.

As an authorised HPE Aruba Networking partner, One80 Technology Group manages the entire trade-in process on your behalf — from initial assessment and registration through to equipment collection and refund processing.

Eligible Equipment

What You Can Trade In

The programme operates on a like-for-like basis. Trade in old equipment from the same category as the new HPE Aruba products you are purchasing.

Wireless Access Points

Trade in legacy AP-1xx, AP-2xx, AP-3xx series or competitor APs and upgrade to the latest HPE Aruba AP-6xx and AP-7xx series with Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities.

Switches & Routing

Replace end-of-life switches and routing equipment with HPE Aruba CX series switches featuring built-in security, AI-powered analytics, and support for next-generation workloads.

Transceivers & DAC Cables

Even smaller components qualify. Trade in transceivers and DAC cables when purchasing new HPE Aruba equivalents as part of your infrastructure refresh.

Equipment must have been owned and in active use for at least 6 months to qualify. Competitor equipment is accepted.

Key Details

What You Need to Know

Eligibility

Trade-in equipment must have been owned and actively used in your business for at least 6 months. Only new HPE products qualify — demonstration, remarketing, and used products are excluded. The programme operates on a like-for-like basis: you must trade in equipment from the same category as the new products you are purchasing.

Trade-In Value

Values are calculated on a points-based system. For switches and routing equipment, points are based on the number of functioning network ports. For wireless access points, points correspond to quantity. Equipment must be returned complete, in working condition, and with all accessories to receive the full trade-in amount.

Timing

Claims must be submitted within 30 days of the date of sale. Once accepted, trade-in equipment must be ready for collection within 90 days. Payment is processed via electronic bank transfer within 45 days of HPE receiving your equipment.

Data Security

You are responsible for removing all sensitive data from equipment before it is collected. One80 can advise on secure data wiping procedures to ensure your information is fully protected before handover.
